About Dr. Perez Garcia
Dr. Perez Garcia was born in Cuba. After graduating from Medical School in the University of Medical Sciences of Havana, she completed Family Medicine Residency in Cuba and Haiti. Afterwards, she finished an accredited Ophthalmology Residency program at Calixto Garcia University Hospital, Cuba. Subsequently, she completed a fellowship in Vitreoretinal Diseases and Surgery at the Ramon Pando Ferrer, Cuban Eye Institute, and then she continued working as a vitreoretinal surgeon at that same institute.

Dr. Perez Garcia pursued her career in United States, and after becoming ECFMG certified in 2019, she completed one-year of Medical Retina Fellowship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Florida. Following that, she completed two-years fellowship in Medical and Surgical Retina at the University of Florida.

After graduation from his Fellowship program, Dr Perez Garcia took a position at Innovative Ophthalmology in Kentucky in 2022. In her spare time, she enjoys theater, ballet, playing table tennis, dancing salsa and spending time with her family.
