About Dr. Harper
Dr Harper is a native Kentuckian. He practiced as a chemical engineer in the nuclear power industry prior to medical school. After his medical education in Louisville, Kentucky, he finished his ophthalmology residency and retina fellowship at the world-famous Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida. He was selected by the faculty for a one-year appointment as Chief Resident following fellowship. He was selected by the faculty for a one-year appointment as Chief Resident following fellowship, where he supervised and taught surgery to the residents. In July 2009, he joined the staff of Ophthalmology Associates, P.S.C. and is now accepting new patients with medical and surgical retinal disease. His hobbies include live music, film, theater, travel, history and spending time with his family.
